I’m thinking there should be a new and improved word for “thanks,” since that doesn’t seem big and bright enough to give to you in exchange for all you’ve done for Farm Sanctuary, and for the animals. For the lack of a better word, let me start by just that, then: THANK YOU, Lisa!

We have been to endless weddings and witnessed the slices of wedding cake sitting untouched on the table. Not your cupcakes. Everyone ate them… not one, not two, but all three. Some guests got up to help themselves to the larger ones on the display, because they simply hadn’t had enough yumminess.
They looked spectacular and were plated beautifully. They tasted even better. They were an absolute hit. All the guests asked where we got them and your name was spoken from table to table. You were a delight to deal with from the very first email to the last delicious bite of cupcake. Thank you Lisa for helping to make Rachel and Chris’s wedding such a special day.

My wife and I knew, early on, that we were interested in a Black Forrest cake, but we weren‘t really sure what the cake should look like. From the start, Lisa‘s incisive approach helped us get to the heart of the matter. She first showed us the range of what she has done (very extensive), and she then made clear the differences in her approach to any particular style of cake. We were impressed, for example, that Lisa took into account whether or not our reception site would be able to refrigerate and hold our cake, until the time came to serve it; if not, then maybe what we were considering wasn‘t the best choice.
From there, my wife and I pulled pages from bridal magazines of cakes that we liked. When we next met with Lisa, she had prepared several different tasting samples of a Black Forest cake -- all of which were amazingly rich, and flavorful. I can‘t express how surprised we were when she told us that these samples were completely vegan! We were so impressed that we decided to go with a vegan cake. To this day, our friends and family still talk about how beautiful and delicious our cake was. They were blown away when we told them that it was actually good for them, relatively speaking!
In the end, Lisa made a cake that was truly for us. It combined rich flavors with an aesthetic that perfectly complemented our reception. She was extremely attentive to the requirements of our reception site and adhered to them meticulously. There just aren't many people who apply their talent with the same passion that Lisa Wolf does. The results were far beyond our imagination.
